Rihanna's "BBHMM" has unsurprisingly become a radio hit and the target of remixes by electronic music producers all over the world. We have not seen any official reworks yet, until today when Diplo uploaded his remix alongside Canadian trap producer, DJ Grandtheft of the "Stay" singer's hit.

Diplo and Grandtheft flip the dark Deputy, Travi$ Scott, WondaGurl and Kanye West-produced on its head with their own trapped out version. They keep much of the synth work from the original and some of RiRi's vocals, but then add a torrent of hi-hats and 808s to compliment chopped up synth chords, taking this track to the club or trap stage at a festival. Stream the remix below. There is no word on when this will be released, so stream it on Soundcloud as many times as you please until it is released.

The pair reunites for remix duties after their retooling of Calvin Harris & Ellie Goulding's "Sweet Nothing" became one of the biggest trap songs of 2012 and 2013.

There is some irony in this remix opportunity. Diplo was recently quoted in an interview with The London Evening Standard during a few shows in Europe with Major Lazer discussing a possible collaboration with RiRi. He later played it off as a misquote, but he apparently hinted at making a record bigger than anything RiRi has right now.

"I was in the studio with Rihanna two weeks ago, still playing the game. I was trying to convince her why she should do so-and-so, and thinking, 'Lean On' is bigger than any of her songs around the world right now. Why am I even sitting here trying to negotiate?'"

He also spoke to Rick Rubin and stated he was going to retire the Diplo name at some point to focus on Major Lazer, but this remix was probably in the world well before he made those comments.
