How do you show off your "Girl Crush" on live TV? Well, by bringing her up onstage, of course. And that's exactly what Little Big Town did on Sunday night (May 17). Following performances from Wiz Khalifa, Nick Jonas, Van Halen and more, LBT brought out Faith Hill to perform its quickly rising new single, giving us all sorts of feels along the way.
To go along with the song's simplistic instrumentation and '50s throwback vibes, Little Big Town kept things simple for its performance of "Girl Crush," eschewing the glitzy production of some of the other night's stars for performing against a blank background while standing in a straight line.
The song did get a new twist, however, because in the second verse, country music legend Hill joined Little Big Town on vocals, giving the phrase "Girl Crush" a whole new, beautiful meaning.
