Lil Wayne and Wiz Khalifa are two of the biggest rappers in the world. Weezy has accomplished a little more than Wiz, but both have had multiple number one hits and sold countless albums. Now they are taking their talents away from front of stage to a little further back into the DJ booth according to TMZ. According to the report, both Wiz and Weezy were inspired to take up the profession, which according to the new EDM film "We Are Your Friends" only takes a laptop, some talent and one song, by Snoop Dogg, who performs under the name DJ Snoopadelic.

This is not just a hobby for both artists, they are going to be doing paying gigs and it won't be cheap to book the two rappers. Lil Wayne is charging a whopping $60,000 for an event and Wiz Khalifa, whose DJ name is DJ Daddykat, will "only" charge $25,000 for a show.

In addition to the gig fee, both rappers require first class flights and VIP accommodations to perform.

Daddykat has already secured a gig at Heat Ultra Lounge in Anaheim, California on Friday, May 29. Tickets start at only $15 if you are inclined to see Wiz try and DJ.

Who knows how much these two actually know about DJing besides choosing a track on a laptop and pressing play with the equipment in front of them. Maybe they do know something about the craft, but these types of stories make veterans cringe. Who knows if they have actually picked up any tips from their touring DJ, but we will see soon.

With The Carter 6 on the shelf for the foreseeable future, Weezy has cleared some time on his schedule for other musical project including DJing.
