Zedd continues to employ unconventional methods to promote his newly released sophomore artist album True Colors. In the 10 days leading up to Monday's release, he launched a campaign across the United States where fans would find clues around their respective cities and win an opportunity to be whisked away for a intimate night with Zedd and some other fans to a special place like the Grand Canyon or Joshua Tree. Over the past few days fans have started to see the "Clarity" producer appear on popular "dating" app Tinder.

Despite having just split with his pop star girlfriend and "I Want You To Know" collaborator, Selena Gomez, Zedd is not trolling Tinder for random hookups. Rather he is using the app as a means to promote his album. According to Billboard, If you swipe right on a picture of him, which happens to be his latest press shot, you will be instantly match with the Russian-born producer and receive a message asking you to check out his new album. Those who do follow through will enter for a chance to win limited edition True Colors package, which includes autographed vinyls and more.

As you might expect there have been plenty of commentary about Zedd's new move in the dating world and one of those is the consummate troll, deadmau5, who attached some screenshots of Zedd's profile.
