The Rolling Stones performed a sneak peak of their Zip Code tour set with a surprise concert at L.A.'s Fonda Theatre Wednesday night where the rockers played the entirety of their 1971 LP Sticky Fingers for the first time ever.

"We're going to do something we've never done before," Mick Jagger told the audience early on in the secret show.

The LP will be reissued among varied platforms including a deluxe box set chock-full with rarities to be released next month. The L.A. concert conjured the first performance of "You Gotta Move" in almost four decades along with Sticky Fingers staples "I Got the Blues" and "Sister Morphine," notes the L.A. Times. The Zip Code tour will officially begin in San Diego on May 24.

Video footage of the tiny L.A. gig shows performances of "Brown Sugar" and with Jagger manning the guitar, "Moonlight Mile." Among the audience sat an array of stars including Harry Styles, Leonard Cohen, Jack Nicholson, Bruce Willis, Eric Idle, Don Was, Joe Pesci and Patricia Arquette.

"Sticky Fingers has, like, five slow songs.... I just don't know how it would work," Jagger told Rolling Stone of his weariness of playing the full album. "Maybe we'd play it and everyone would say, 'Great.' But maybe they'll get restless and start going to get drinks."

Aside from the classic 1971 album, the Stones played fundamental tracks including "Jumpin Jack Flash," "Start Me Up," "When the Whip Comes Down," and "All Down the Line," as well as a few covers, incporporating the late B.B. King's "Rock Me Baby."

With the recent passing of the blues legend, Jagger mourned the loss of King via a Twitter. "It's sad," he wrote. "He had such a huge, long career. It's sad that we won't be listening to him live anymore."
