The hip-hop world continues to mourn the loss of Coke Boyz rapper Chinx and word on Web is he will be laid to rest soon. Details have been announced for his funeral arrangements.

According to the late rapper's Instagram account, Chinx's funeral services will be held next Tuesday (May 26) at The Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral in Jamaica, Queens.

As previously reported, Chinx was killed in a drive-by shooting in Queens early Sunday. He was reportedly struck multiple times and his passenger was struck twice in the Porsche Chinx was driving at around 4 a.m. At least seven bullets pierced the front and driver-side windows according to the New York Daily News.

There has been speculation that the fatal shooting may be related to the 2007 shooting death of Stack Bundles.

Incarcerated rapper Max B, who served as Chinx's mentor, called him a "young, inspiring brother" and detailed their close relationship.

"I don't know if people realize how close we was and sh*t. Like we all used to be in my crib, French, me, him ... I'd be with Chinx every day, Chinx used to spend the night at my joint," he said. "We used to be making music and sh*t. People really don't hear us on songs together because at the time he used to come stay in my spot, I was on trial, so I was goin' through my own sh*t, I was stressed out, I wasn't really making no music when I had started trial. So that's the only reason people don't hear us on songs together."

Rapper Yemen Chee$e, who was in the car with Chinx during the shooting, was also critically wounded.
