It's been a huge year for new music from Drake, considering that none of us actually saw the year's bestselling album—If You're Reading This It's Too Late—coming. Now three new songs have joined his collaboration with Beyoncé, "Can I," this week: "On A Wave," featuring vocals from Tinashe, "Tryna F*ck" featuring Juicy J and Ty Dolla $ign as well as "Go Out Tonight."

Although Drake hasn't made clear what the intended use for these tracks is, many would like to believe that they're early leaks from his Views From the 6 album, the record that we knew was coming before the rapper dropped an entirely unplanned collection on us. One has to assume that tracks this star-studded weren't meant to be left for a mixtape.

Granted, fans have already gotten a taste of "Tryna F*ck" earlier during 2015, albeit only a clip. The leaked version is actually an edited version, appropriately titled "Tryna Love" although no one's fooled about the intentions of the rappers on the track. If anything, we should be more excited about "On A Wave." Some hate it and more love it, but Drake has put emphasis on the slow burners throughout his career and that continues on this track, and he managed to book next-big-thing Tinashe to jump onboard. "Go Out Tonight" might not feature any guests, but it does feature a beat from longtime collaborator Noah "40" Shebib.

None of these live up to the hype generated by "Can I," a team project with Beyoncé, when it dropped on Thursday. You can check out our previous coverage on that song here.

One has to wonder why all the new tracks are dropping right now. Although most of the listenable copies of the three new tracks have already been removed from the internet, it seems almost too much that they're all appearing right now. Will Views From The 6 come soon after? Even if Drake himself isn't behind the current leaks, it may still result in the second album of 2015 coming sooner than he would have hoped. An official release date has yet to be made.
