St. Vincent has released a new song, "Prince Johnny," off her upcoming self-titled fourth studio album. She dropped the song while guest DJing at a Los Angeles public radio station, according to Radio.com.

St. Vincent previously released "Digital Witness" and "Birth in Reverse" off the new album. "Prince Johnny" has a darker sound (though not necessarily darker theme) than the two previous tracks, which featured up-tempo beats.

The upcoming album is the follow up to 2011's Strange Mercy. The 11-song effort hits stores February 25 via her new label Loma Vista/Republic Records. Annie Clark recorded the new album in Dallas with Dap-Kings drummer Homer Steinweiss and Midlake percussionist McKenzie Smith. John Congleton (Modest Mouse, the Mountain Goats), who has previously helmed St. Vincent's Actor and Strange Mercy, produced the album. "I knew the groove needed to be paramount," she said in the statement. "I wanted to make a party record you could play a funeral."

St. Vincent will embark on an extensive 2014 North American tour next week in support of the upcoming effort. Check out "Prince Johnny" here, and see if Clark is headed to a city near you. Let us know what you think in the comments section below!
