Croke Park Stadium will seat 82,300 fans, but that huge number didn't stop Garth Brooks from selling out his first two shows in almost the blink of an eye. A third night was added and that too, sold out (all three in less than two hours with some fans waiting in line for up to four days for tickets). Now, the country legend has added a fourth show on Monday, July 28th. Tickets will go on sale on Ticketmaster on Thursday, February 6th at 9 am and are expected to move fast.

Concert promoter Peter Aiken is over the moon by the huge response to Garth's first concert at Croke Park in 17 years. He said, "It is hard to believe that an artist could play 4 nights in a row at Croke Park. But thanks to the cooperation of Croke Park and the huge support of the fans, we are delighted to be announcing today this fourth date for the Garth Brooks Comeback Special Event."

Garth himself had a little different reaction to the news of his shows selling out so fast. He told BBC Radio Ulster's Talkback that he was "flattered, humbled and scared to death." He said that he is creating a mock-up stage at his farm so he can best prepare for the Croke Park shows. As he talked about the biggest place he's ever performed, he asked, "So how do you get close to these people? There are so many of them and we will be working to figure that out."
