Icona Pop has another "Emergency" coming up: dealing with thousands upon thousands of One Direction fans. Today (June 1), it was announced that the Swedish duo will be joining 1D this summer on the North American leg of its On the Road Again Tour.
Icona Pop will be joining One Direction for 16 dates beginning July 9, according to a press release. Fresh off the release of its new single "Emergency," Icona Pop will be leading up to the release of its third studio album by playing in stadiums across American before wrapping up the touring on September 12.
"We are so thrilled to be joining the One Direction guys on the road this summer and cannot wait to perform our new music in stadiums across America," Icona Pop's Caroline Hjelt and Aino Jawo said in a statement.
