Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth's Furious 7 single "See You Again" rebounded back to the No. 1 spot this week on the Billboard Hot 100, but that doesn't mean the push for the heartwarming Paul Walker tribute track has stopped. Last night (June 4), the "We De Boyz" rapper and his latest musical partner popped up on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to deliver a straightforward performance of the hit song.
With Puth sitting at the piano, wearing a leather jacket and a pensive look on his face, Khalifa took the center of the stage. For his own apparel, Khalifa went for baby pink, wearing an oversized T-shirt and baseball hat over his light brown dreadlocks.
The casual appearance Khalifa was rocking carried through into his performance. The wild, wide-armed dancing that marked his and Puth's Bilboard Music Awards showcase were absent here, with Khalifa just chilling during the musical interludes and Puth's choruses.
Vocally, however, this performance was on one, even if the visuals were lacking. But, this is like the 800th time we've seen this song on TV by now, so it all feels about right.
