In June of last year, Led Zeppelin started its album reissue operation spanning its entire discography. On July 31, the band will reissue its last three LPs, 1976's Presence, 1979's In Through the Out Door and 1982's Coda, as deluxe edition releases.
Following the pattern of the former album rereleases, celebrated Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page put in personal time to remaster each track. Out via Atlantic/Swan Song Records, each reissue will be available on CD, vinyl, deluxe edition CD and Vinyl and a box set—accompanied by bonus material including cover art prints, a Zeppelin coffee table book, and digital downloads. Each vinyl will be obtainable on an 180-gram pressing while In Through the Out Door will replicate the album's original inner-sleeve with a water-sensitive insert, notes Rolling Stone.
The prolonged version of Presence, which Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and John Bonham crafted in 18 days in Munich, features mixes of "Achilles Last Stand," "Hots on For Nowhere," and "Royal Orleans," as well as "10 Ribs & All/ Carrot Pod Pod," an unreleased instrumental track, reports Pitchfork. The remastered In Through the Out Door includes alternative and previously unreleased mixes of each track on the LP.
The reissue of the band's last studio album released two years after drummer John Bonham's death, Coda, comes prepared with two supplementary discs containing rough mixes of Physical Graffiti tracks "Four Sticks" and "Sugar Mama."
