This year's Awestruck Festival in Indiana, will feature performances by The City Harmonic (headliner), We Are Leo, Rhema Soul, Jake And Rolo, Jennie Wellsand, Richard Bodden, Sam Troemel, Shuree and Willet.  The festival will be taking place on July 27, starting at 4 p.m. at Camp LRCA, a Christian camp in Crown Point, Indiana.

The aim of the festival is to create a feeling of reverence and awe in attendees by allowing them to encounter Jesus Christ through a series of scheduled summer events and musical performances.  It is one of two Awestruck festivals for people of all ages, the second of which will be taking place in Minnesota, for the first time this year (August 16- 18 in Waterville). The Indiana festival also incorporates a 2,000 hour community service project for high school youth and a college program to train young adults to become future staff members into the preparation for the event.

The mission statement for the the Awestruck festival reads, "The culture we live in longs for immortality. Celebrities try to create lasting legacies for themselves, people donate sums of money to get places named after them, and others create tons of art and literature in hopes that they will be remembered for their talent, beauty, or success. But death ultimately comes for all, and eventually everyone is forgotten here on earth. But the believer in Jesus doesn't have to worry about being remembered for worldly success. The believer in Christ Jesus our Lord has eternal value because God considers us to be worthy in Him. Death has no power over the believer in Jesus. We have been given victory over sin, death, and the devil through our Lord Jesus Christ!"

The festival begins at 4 p.m. and activities run until after 11 p.m.  The event begins with the opening of the gates as well as access to the pool, concessions, merchandise, the bounce house, the corn hole and the basketball court.  Performances begin at 5 p.m. and continue throughout the evening at either the CPCF Stage or the Main Stage.

Tickets for the festival cost just $18 for adults who order them in advance and $20 at the door.  Children's tickets cost only $5 for children, ages 12 and younger, and are available at the door.

In addition to musical performances, the festival will also feature fun activities, a keynote speaker, worship led by Sam Troemel, a special Awestruck Presentation and an Afterglow presentation with Troemel.

Sam Troemel is a musician who will be appearing for his first time at Awestruck.  He is currently a student at Concordia University in Chicago where he is majoring in Director of Education and Elementary School Education.  He will be performing at the traditional Afterglow Campfire Worship at the end of the festival during which festival-goers gather around the campfire to worship the Lord through well-known prayer and praise music.

For festival attendees interested in overnight lodging, camping is available on the LRCA campgrounds for affordable prices.  Cabin rentals offer bathroom access as well as working sinks and showers.  Tent camping is also available under the stars for just 5 dollars.  Overnight campers are invited to join in campfire worship and discussion, as well as Sunday morning worship with Willet.  Security is also offered until worship comes to a close at 10 a.m. Sunday morning.
