The most recent country music tour announced might seem less than obvious, but it's also more than excellent. Willie Nelson and Alison Krauss will tour as co-headliners beginning on May 1. Not awesome enough you say? How about if Kacey Musgraves was also the opening act? Because she is, at least for a good chunk of the dates.

Nelson and Krauss (and her famed band Union Station) have never toured together before, but nows as good a time as any. Nelson's last studio release was To All The Girls..., a series of duets with established female vocalists. Krauss joined him for the track "No Mas Amor."

Musgraves could probably stage her own headlining tour at this point in her career, but she's spreading her name further by opening for acts such as Nelson and Krauss, and Katy Perry. The new Grammy winner will open shows from June 5 through June 21. The rest of the shows will split between Jason Isbell and The Devil Makes Three.
