Word on the Web is Big Sean will be featured on the forthcoming soundtrack for Terminator Genisys with Jane Zhang.
As noted by Vibe, the two collaborated on a song titled "Fighting Shadows" for the film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.
"I have been a huge fan of Arnold and the Terminator movies since I was a kid, so it's especially exciting to be a part of the new film," Big Sean said in a press release. "Working with Jane has been an amazing experience and I can't wait for audiences around the world to hear her song."
Zhang, a former contestant on China's singing competition, Super Girl, seemed to be just as excited to work with the Detroit rhymer.
"Contributing to the Terminator Genisys movie and inviting Big Sean to collaborate was a very special opportunity for me," Zhang also said in the press release.
The song marks Sean's first song for a film, and Zhang's first for an English-language movie.
Sean and Zhang's "Fighting Shadows" will make its way to iTunes on June 30. Terminator Genisys lands in theaters on July 1.
This summer, Big Sean will head to Toronto as a part of Drake's sixth annual OVO Fest and J. Cole's Forest Hills Drive tour. YG, Jeremih, Bas, Cozz and Omen will also perform at the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre on Aug. 2.
Last month, BET unveiled its nominees for the network's annual award show. Sean received nominations for Best Male Hip-Hop Artists as well as Best Collaboration and Best Video for "IDFWU" featuring E-40.
