Clearly, its been quite a busy year for Taraji P. Henson. The Empire star was recently hospitalized for exhaustion. She took to Instagram to share an update with fans.

Henson, who stars as Cookie on the Fox hit show, posted on social media on Friday (June 19) that she had been hospitalized.

"God has a way of saying 'you're doing too much!' 'SAT DOWN SOMEWHERE,'" she wrote. "I'm listening Father!!! I am taking several seats!!! Don't worry y'all I'm a tough cookie! HA! I will be just fine. My momma and best friends are flying in to check on me. I AM FINE!!!!!!! Just need to SAT ALL THE WAY DOWN for a bit. #listentoyourbody."

The actress's reps followed up with ABC by reiterating that she's "going to be fine."

Last month, it was reported that Season 2 of Empire is scheduled to premiere on Wednesday, Sept. 23. As noted by Screen Crush, Empire season two will expand to 18 episodes from season one's modest 12, structured in two halves with a major cliffhanger between.

Season two guest stars include Chris Rock, Lenny Kravitz and Alicia Keys. Ne-Yo will join Timbaland writing music for the series. No word if he'll actually make an appearance.

Lee Daniels previously confirmed that he has written roles for dream guest-star Oprah Winfrey and Oscar-winner Common.
