Selena Gomez is kicking off her new deal with Interscope Records by making herself look "Good for You." On Monday morning (June 22) right at the stroke of midnight, the new single from the "Heart Wants What It Wants" singer dropped online, and Gomez is sounding more and more like a saucy, R&B infused Lana Del Rey.

With marked sexuality and a voice that is soft, moaning and just a little bit sweet, Gomez croons about how she can "take you there" as the music thumps and swells underneath her.

"Gonna wear that dress you like skintight / Do my hair up, real nice / And syncopate my skin to your heart beating / 'Cause I just want to look good for you, good for you," Gomez sings with dripping, soft sensuality.

"Good for You" follows Gomez's recent streak of heavily adult themed material as she moves away from her days as a Disney starlet on Hollywood Records. With a guest verse from A$AP Rocky, who raps that he's not trying to ruin her look or reputation, Gomez finally sounds and feels like the 22-year-old artist that she is.

Like Miley Cyrus (and to a lesser extent Demi Lovato) before her, Gomez successfully breaks out of her sugary good past on "Good for You." With the quiet atmosphere of this song, too, she plays to her vocal strengths and the result is a bona fide adult hit.
