Rising R&B star Jidenna's new single "Classic Man" has gotten a big name rapper for its new remix. Today (June 22), the single from the upcoming Wondaland Presents: The Eephus album got some assistance from Kendrick Lamar, turning the track into a future smash hit.

KDot takes over Jidenna's duties on the opening verse, giving this smooth, summery single a hard-hitting new start at he tackles his own skills and rapping prowess, playing into Jidenna's own braggy lyrics.

"I'm the only n*gga doin' it / You other n*ggas ruined it / I'm too legit, go Hammer wit' the foolishness / My nana said my grandma can maneuver this industry / Until I'm stupid rich and now I'm stupid rich, ah," Lamar spits at the start of the track before Jidenna's hook plays underneath. His chaotic voice plays well off the "Fancy"-esque instrumentation and Jidenna's breezy singing style.

While Jidenna reclaims the lead for the second and fourth verse, bringing back his original song, Lamar once again appears in the third verse, firing off speedy lines about how the classic style is within him, not necessarily in his jewelry.

The counterbalance adds some much-needed texture to "Classic Man," and the big name is sure to help give Janelle Monae's Wondaland Records its first major hit.
