There's no denying that Miley Cyrus is sexy, and lately the pop star turned activist has been open about her life as a vegan. Now, the "Wrecking Ball" singer's status as both beautiful and animal-friendly has been cemented - she's been deemed 2015's Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrity by PETA.

Cyrus has been open about her vegan lifestyle and love of animals in recent weeks. In her recent Paper magazine feature, the 22-year-old said that she wanted to be held accountable as an animal activist, and that she now eschews animal products in her diet. The death of her beloved Alaskan Klee Kai, Floyd, was also a major factor in her choice to go vegan.

She acknowledged her love of animals and vegan diet in her recent Backyard Sessions song "Pablow the Blowfish," which PETA acknowledged as a big plus in its press release. Citing the lyrics, "On Saturday night, we all went out to eat / But I can never decide, so someone chose sushi / I got soup and I ordered rice / But watching my friends eat my [animal] friends ruined my appetite," as a forward step for vegetarianism and veganism, "Pablow the Blowfish" helped Cyrus beat out the likes of Ariana Grande, Ellie Goulding, Prince and Ricky Martin for the title of Sexiest Celebrity Vegetarian.

Some of you may remember a few months ago my dear blow fish Pablow past away. I wrote this song for him...He made me so happy and I miss him everyday.... But now he is with Floyd and Melanie's sweet Sadie
