It's absolutely no secret that ABC's The View is, once again, going through some major changes. It was confirmed a few weeks ago that Raven Symone has officially been added as a panelist for the weekday chat fest, but they still need to make more changes. Usually during the summer The View will announce a few new co-hosts for the upcoming season and this time around Molly Sims seems to be a front runner.

According to an exclusive report by Deadline, "ABC's The View has been relying heavily on guest co-hosts. I hear the show is looking to make that setup more permanent, with a stable of revolving contributors who will take turns joining the full-time panelists. I hear one of The View's frequent guest co-hosts, actress Molly Sims, is in serious contention for one of the new positions," reveals an insider.

Perhaps it's wise for them to just add a revolving panel of guest hosts, that way if someone isn't clicking they can just be rotated out of the mix. Casting has been a real problem in recent seasons, with Rosie O'Donnell only making it a few months before abruptly quitting this past February. Rosie Perez and Nicole Wallace both inked one-year contracts last fall but neither one seemed to really click and rumor has it that at least one of them won't be returning.

What are your thoughts on Sims joining the roundtable discussion on a regular bass? Does that seem like a potentially good fit, or is she just the best of the current bunch of hopefuls?  Is The Vew better off going with a revolving panel of contributors?
