Rick Ross may be in the middle of an intense legal battle after getting arrested last month on charges of assault, aggravated battery and kidnapping. However, the "Keep Doin' That" rapper's lawyer is staying focused on the release of new music. According to his attorney Adamma McKinnon, a follow-up to Hood Billionaire will be arriving "soon."

In an interview with The Daily Beast, McKinnon denied the charged that Ross (real name: William Leonard Roberts II) held his gardener Jonathan Zamudio hostage on June 7, beating him with a glock until he was bloodied and bruised, forcing him on a liquid and soft foods diet. Saying that he was essentially framed, McKinnon said Ross is not "fretting the charges." "He's someone who has reached a certain plateau and there are people after celebrities like [Roberts] and looking for monetary gain," she said.

In addition to denying the charges against her client, McKinnon was staying focused on Ross' main notoriety: his music. According to her, Ricky Roszay will be dropping his eighth studio album Black Dollar "soon."

Ross just recently made his $2 million bail and while he deals with the loads of legal issues, no further word on Black Dollar is available, including a tracklist or tentative release date.

Black Dollar would be the eighth official LP from the Maybach Music Group boss and will immediately follow the release of his November 2014 album Hood Billionaire, which featured the singles "Elvis Presley Blvd.," "Keep Doin' That (Rich B*tch)" and "Nickel Rock."
