The last few months haven't been very kind to Kim Richards. First, she survived a pretty tumultuous season on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills that exposed just how bad her relationship with her sister, Kyle Richards really is and then she struggled to convince anyone that would listen, that she still was maintaining her sobriety. Unfortunately, a DUI after a night of partying in Beverly Hills told the real story. Richards then found herself bound for rehab and fired by Bravo, but of course, her recollection is a bit different.

Rather than owning up to the fact that her addictions and bad behavior got her fired from RHOBH, Richards is saying that she left on her own terms. According to a report by Radar Online, "Kim has been telling her friends in rehab that she was not fired from Real Housewives at all. Pretty much no one believes her. Some of the things that she says, she just seem like she is in such denial. Kim can paint it however she wants. She knows the truth."

While it's understandable that the reality star wants to do some damage control, apparently lying about her status with the show that has paid her bills for the last few years is probably not the brightest move. Executive producer, Andy Cohen likes to bring back familiar faces and so it seems to us that if Richards really pulled herself together then maybe down the road she would pop up again. Slamming him or Bravo in any way will likely burn that bridge, don't you think?

Do you think that Richards needing to rewrite the situation rather than just owning it is a sign that she still isn't ready to change her life? Fans of the show have seen Richards take responsibility for precious little in recent months, is this situation more of the same? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
