Philly's Creepoid stuns fans with their video for "Dried Out." Released last month via Collect Records, Creepoid's studio album has been accurately cited by reviewers as "sprawling fuzzed-out guitar music." Currently on tour, the grunge outfit's latest video is vividly haunting. Set in a breathtakingly desolate yet captivating landscape, "Dried Out" is lush with sunlight and reverb.

Opening with flashes of mountain and sky, the first few seconds of "Dried Out" are befitting of the song's title. Lead vocalist Sean Miller's diction perfectly compliments the cinematic adaptation of Cemetery Highrise Slum's fifth track. Earnest, yet disenchanted, the song's lyricism is amplified by sundrenched scenes of broken beams, terristrial desolation and cult-like rituals.

Wrapped in flowing sheets, Creepoid downs wine, breaks bread and conjures flames with convincing execution. Paired with flawless instrumentation and somber yet shaking lines like "Show me the real you," the East Coast four piece creates a world of their own. With ease, listeners find themselves transported by brooding melodics and sweeping soundscapes.

Marking a monumental moment for the band, Cemetery Highrise Slum is the first LP that they have released as a full-time band. "This is almost like out first record, to me," drummer Pat Troxell explained in an interview with Noisey. "The other ones, it was a different type of band and now it's like this is what you get when we put everything we have into something."

Still on the road, the quartet is currently on the southern leg of their tour. Set to headline NYC's Music Hall of Williamsburg next week, the band certainly proves their "on tour forever" motto to be true. For fans unable to catch their live set, watching "Dried Out" in-between replays of their latest full length might suffice.
