David Nail - I'm A Fire
On Valentine's Day, David Nail joined a club he didn't want to join ... country stars who have been in bus crashes!
David was in New York state on the way to open for Darius Rucker in Albany when the bus hit an icy patch on the road and slid off of the road into the median. Darius sent his own buses to go pick Nail and and his band up and the show went on as planned.
The singer told Country Weekly, "It was one of those experiences that I hope never happens again. It was one of those nights where you're kinda in and out of sleep. You have a hard enough time sleeping on the bus as it is. You could totally feel it going out of control and just praying that it ends somewhere soft and that you don’t tip over or flip."
As for that club, Bucky Covington and Josh Thompson joined in in 2012. Lee Brice, Jerrod Niemann, Joe Diffie, Randy Houser all survived bus fires in 2012, something Justin Moore learned about first hand in 2011.
