Nicki Minaj's "Anaconda" music video was nominated for two awards at this year's MTV VMAs, but that doesn't mean the rapper is happy about it. After Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and others beat her out for the illustrious Video of the Year award, Minaj fired off on Twitter slamming the network and its show.

Minaj fired some low key shots at MTV and Swift after "Bad Blood" got nominated while "Anaconda" was snubbed for Video of the Year. Citing the music video's pop culture impact and VEVO record (which was eventually beaten by Swift), Minaj said if she were an "other" artist, her clip would have gotten nominated.

Minaj also seems displeased that her collaboration with Beyoncé, "Feeling Myself," wasn't nominated. (However, Beyoncé's "7/11" got multiple nods, including Video of the Year.)

MTV has yet to respond to Minaj's remarks. Though it's not up for Video of the Year, "Anaconda" is nominated for three awards including Best Female Video and Best Hip-Hop Video. Minaj is also nominated alongside Ariana Grande and Jessie J for "Bang Bang."

The 2015 MTV VMAs will take place on Aug. 30, hosted by Miley Cyrus.
