It's been 23 years since Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards crafted a solo album, however, Sept. 18 will stop the lengthy album drought with the release of Crosseyed Heart. In the latest video for "Trouble," Richards jams in the studio alongside fellow guitarist Waddy Watchel and drummer Steve Jordan.

"I had a ball making this new record and working with Steve Jordan and Waddy Wachtel again," Richards said in a statement. "There's nothing like walking into a studio and having absolutely no idea what you're going to come out with on the other end. If you're looking for 'Trouble,' you've come to the right place."

The clip was co-directed by Jordan and Morgan Neville, director of the Oscar-winning documentary 20 Feet From Stardom, notes Rolling Stone. The "Trouble" video was and recorded in New York City's Germano Studios, where a large amount of Crosseyed Heart was crafted.

Aside from guitar, Richards provides talents on the bass as well as lead and back-up vocals on the track. In addition to Wachtel and Jordan, the LP boasts guests ranging from Norah Jones and Aaron Neville to Spooner Oldham and Larry Campbell. Two tracks on the solo LP will feature the late Stones saxophonist Bobby Keys.

In April, Richards entertained the idea of a backing tour for Crosseyed Heart, which he recently premiered for a tight-knit gathering in New York City. The 71-year-old musician explained to Rolling Stone that he's itching to get back in the studio with the Rolling Stones. "I'd like to see just how far they can evolve," Richards said of the band. "I have no demands or particular visions for them, but you're just part of this thing and I want to see how far it will go."

The Rolling Stones recently toured North America for a series of gigs, introducing a span of surprise guests including Brad Paisley and Ed Sheeran.
