Last week, starlet Lana Del Rey announced that her second single from Honeymoon would drop this coming Monday. Thanks to the magic of the Internet, "High By The Beach" was leaked ahead of schedule is already in heavy rotation. Much like the tracks off her fourth studio album, her latest pop ballad is being described as "sultry" by critics like Stereogum.

A lyrical snapshot of a plausibly fictional romance (and its subsequent end), "High By The Beach" holds nothing back, avoiding coyness in favor of brash lines such as "Don't need your money, money / To get me what I want / Lights camera action / I'll do it on my own," nestled between synth. A definite anthem against codependence and less-than significant others, this New York native's forthcoming release, which is due out in September, will undboutedly double her already massive following.

Del Rey's song is "sun-drenched," according to Refinery 29. A definite break-up story, the singer's latest insists that what she really wants is to "get high by the beach." An arguably more favorable pastime than dedicating hours to a flawed relationship, her delivery isn't merely impressive, it's relatable. Slotted to be one of the most anticipated releases of the fall, Honeymoon, much like Del Rey's prior full lengths, is destined to dominate the airwaves.

As fans wait for the complete track list for Ultraviolence's follow up, the latest leak along with the LP's title track "Honeymoon" might be enough to keep Del Rey's adoring public entranced and if not, there are plenty of remixes of her previous singles to satiate the appetites of even the most devout listeners.
