Wendy Williams really put her foot in her mouth when she made comments about Ariana Grande's physical appearance. Not only were some of the talk show hotst's fans upset, but the commentary also triggered a bad taste in the mouths of thousands of Grande fans. Brother, Frankie Grande, recently spoke with People NOW to discuss his feelings on the matter.

The drama all started when the 51-year-old talk show host made a few controversial statements about the 22-year-old's petite stature and innocent looking features on her show, The Wendy Williams Show. Williams went as far as to say, she doesn't view her as a real woman.

"She's 21. She'll forever look 12," Williams said as the audience laughed, according to E! Online. "And I don't mean that in a good way. It's nice to look younger than you are, but when you look too young and then you're short—she's only like 4'11". I don't look at her as, like, a woman."

Frankie Grande sat down with People NOW to address the scandal and express his views on the ordeal. Grande, who appeared as a house guest on Big Brother 16, is extremely close with his younger sister Ariana. The two even share a love for all things Disney. As mentioned in the interview, Frankie Grande believes the way people portray themselves on the outside doesn't sum up who they are as a person on the inside.

"I don't think anyone should judge anyone based on their appearance," he said.

when your sister is actually the cutest. ☺️❤️

Williams is known for being an outspoken entertainment journalist and as she continues to gain more popularity in the field, her list of people she's offended continues to grow as well. Her comments towards the "Love Me Harder" singer ignited ticked off fans to start the Twitter hashtag, #CancelWindyWilliams and it didn't take long for the hashtag to begin trending. Despite the recent backlash the young crooner received for her comments against America, fans still stuck behind her to show their support.
