TDE rapper Jay Rock has at last unveiled the tracklist, release date(?) and cover art for his long-awaited album, now title 90059. The LP has a slew of features from TDE family and elsewhere including Kendrick Lamar, SZA, Busta Rhymes and Lance Skiiwalker, who appears on two different songs.
According to an iTunes pre-order, 90059 will be released on August 18, 2016.

Yes you read that right, a full year from now. It could be that Jay Rock's team is putting the album up for pre-order now to build hype and will move the release date up significantly to make it almost a "surprise" album, fitting with the current trend of hip-hop album releases. Backing that up theory are comments from Top Dog Entertainment president Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith, who has said on multiple occasions that the album would be dropping soon.

The cover art is simple, yet powerful, as one might expect from Jay Rock. It features a black and white hand print with the fingerprints scribbled out to signify an individual's unique identity being stripped away from them. Finger prints are unique to each person so once they are they taken away, the individual becomes much more homogenous in society as a whole.

Jay Rock has already released two songs from the LP, "Money Trees Deuce" with Lance Skiiwalker and the title track 90059, including a video that just dropped. Check out the powerful visuals below.
