Miley Cyrus has gone platinum. We're not talking about her hair... she's been that way for a while. The "Adore You" singer's latest album Bangerz has been certified platinum by the RIAA, meaning it's sold over one million copies since its Oct. 8 release date. She joins One Direction, Kanye West and Lorde in the big sales monument.

According to a press release from the RIAA, seven albums went platinum in the January and February months. Meanwhile, two records surpassed the 500,000 sales benchmark, meaning they've gone gold.

Cyrus' Bangerz, led by the massive singles "We Can't Stop" and "Wrecking Ball" debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 upon its release last year and has seen relatively strong sales since, propelled by sales, promotions, her singles and, of course, her controversial Bangerz Tour.

But she's not the only one. Daft Punk's Random Access Memories, which dropped in May and took home the Grammy for Album Of The Year also surpassed a million copies sold in the winter months. The other new platinum certified albums are: Lorde's Pure Heroine, One Direction's Midnight Memories, Beyoncé's Beyoncé, Kanye West's Yeezus and the Frozen soundtrack (which has spent five weeks atop the Billboard 200).

Those albums aren't the only ones with notable sales successes. Thanks to the No. 2 single "Counting Stars," OneRepublic's Native sold over 500,000 copies, certifying it platinum. It joins Darius Rucker's True Believers with that honor.
