Queen has announced plans for their first full-fledged North American in almost 10 years and will be bringing along Adam Lambert to perform with founding members Brian May and Roger Taylor. The three men appeared earlier today on Good Morning America to reveal their plans.

Lambert, who played with Queen at last year's iHeartRadio Festival, will be filling in for the late Freddie Mercury. "To get to be onstage with these two rock royalty members. ...honestly, Queen is one of the quintessential rock bands of all time. They have made music that no one had ever heard before and have influenced bands for years to come," Lambert said.

"We feel that Adam is one of the few singers that can deliver our songs," Taylor added.

The tour kicks off June 19 in Chicago and goes through most of July with dates both in the U.S. and Canada. Tickets go on sale March 14.
