Nick Jonas' glowing relationship with the world of beauty pageants will continue through the years. The "Levels" singer is slated to become the official music curator for the 2016 Miss America Competition, providing the soundtrack for everything from the swimsuit competition to evening gowns to the opening dance number.

Jonas will provide the soundtrack for the Sept. 13 broadcast, Yahoo reports. The former Jonas Brothers member cited his long history in the world of pageant music and his work on Demi Lovato's recent tour as the reason for his latest gig. He's previously performed at Miss Teen USA in 2007, Miss USA in 2013 and Miss Universe in January of this year.

"I'm pretty familiar with this world now - the legacy, the approach you have to take when thinking about what role music plays in that show, how important it is for the whole night. It's a really special time for these women in their lives, and you want to do all you can to make it something special and a great night.

"I was approached about being involved in the show some way, and the conversation stemmed from the work I'd done with Demi [Lovato] last year, being the music director and creative director for her tour. So it seemed like a good fit, to step out and do something different than my usual job and have some fun with it," he said.

Jonas noted that he's looking at every genre of music, from his own new single "Levels" to Sam Hunt to Jason Derulo. However, he admitted that the final playlist for this year's Miss America show is not yet completed, and it likely won't be until final rehearsals.

The show will air Sept. 13 at 9 p.m. on ABC.
