Miguel knows how to work guitar magic!
CMT has named the new batch of ladies for the Next Women of Country, an enterprise that recognizes women who are making a major impact on country music, and these 5 ladies are all amazingly talented! In 2013, CMT named the first batch of country gals. Kacey Musgraves, one of the new faces at the time, went on to win two Grammy Awards less than a year after her debut album was released.

The five new voices belong to Angaleena Presley, Lindsay Ell, Lucy Hale, Natalie Stovall and The Drive and Nikki Lane and while each one of them brings a lot to the table, having personally spent time with Natalie Stovall and The Drive, I can absolutely say "Good choice!"

Learn more about the ladies ...

Angaleena Presley: Angaleena was the third member Pistol Annies (with Miranda Lambert and Ashley Monroe). The Kentucky gal was known as Holler Annie and fans fell hard for her on the RIAA Gold Hell on Heels.

Lindsay Ell: Ell's debut single, "Trippin' on Us" was the most-added song on country radio when it came out. The guitar playin' gal has also been opening for The Band Perry, gaining lots of new fans.

Lucy Hale: The acturess that plays Aria Montgomery on the TV show Pretty Little Liars TV series, is counting down the days to her debut album, Road Between, which will hit stores in early June.

Natalie Stovall and The Drive: Stovall picked up the fiddle when she was four and it's been on since then! She and The Drive have been together for nearly ten years and in that time, they have honed their live show to a T.

Nikki Lane: We can thank a bad break-up for changing Nikki's life so much that she moved from her South Carolina home to New York City to Nashville to make her way in music. Her album, All or Nothin' is due out in May.
