If you're itching for one last festival jaunt before the summer comes to a close, New York City's Electric Zoo is the place to turn. The EDM-themed music festival kicks off this weekend Randall's Island, and although primary tickets are still available for the three-day event, cheaper tickets are available for purchase on the secondary market, according to TiqIQ. Featured artists will include Alesso and The Chemical Brothers.

The festival features some of the largest names in EDM, including acts like The Chemical Brothers, Above & Beyond, Alesso, Dvbbs, Com Truise, and Headhunterz. Over 100,000 fans are expected to attend the festival weekend. Last summer, dangerous weather forced festival organizers to cancel Sunday's scheduled event, meaning fans had to miss out on seeing acts like Kaskade, Chase & Status, Bingo Players, and Alesso perform. In 2013, New York City officials demanded organizers shut down Electric Zoo after two concertgoers overdosed while at Randall's Island. If all goes smoothly this year, Electric Zoo should operate according to plan.

Primary tickets for Electric Zoo can be purchased for all three days or for just Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. According to the Electric Zoo website, three-day passes to the festival are $299, while a VIP three-day pass is $499. A single day pass for Friday is $109, while Saturday and Sunday passes are $119. For fans who can't make it to all three days, two-day passes are also available for $219. Conversely, three day passes are actually cheaper for purchase on the secondary market. The average three-day pass is going for $193 with a get-in price of $133, an impressive $166 cheaper than a face-value ticket.

Electric Zoo has made strides to improve the festival this year, and the food will be a big part of the advancements. In case the music itself is not enough of a draw, Electric Zoo has partnered with New Fork City, and so the festival will feature seafood from Luke's Lobster, pizza from the famous NYC pizza joint Valduccis, and mac and cheese from Beechers.
