Not only is Lana Del Rey the face of V Magazine's latest issue, she's given a rare interview to James Franco to further explain and clarify her "anti-feminist" statements from Fader's 2014 cover story.

Last year, Del Rey made some questionable remarks to Fader that stirred up controversy in the public eye. She said "the issue of feminism is just not an interesting concept" to her. "I'm more interested in, you know, SpaceX and Tesla, what's going to happen with our intergalactic possibilities," she explained. "Whenever people bring up feminism, I'm like, god. I'm just not really that interested."

In her latest candid interview with Franco, the "High by the Beach" singer explained "the luxury we have as a younger generation is being able to figure out where we want to go from here, which is why I've said things like, 'I don't focus on feminism, I focus on the future.'

"It's not to say that there's not more to do in that area," she said. "I've gotten to witness through history the evolution of so many movements and now I'm standing at the forefront of new technological movements."

Del Rey also detailed her latest album Honeymoon to Franco, explaining the importance of its title. "It's the word that sums up the ultimate dream," she said. "I mean, life is a honeymoon. Life, love, paradise, freedoms... that's forever."

Del Rey has become a creative muse for the multi-talented James Franco who wrote an ode to the singer for V Magazine in January. He also co-wrote a novel with award-winning writer David Shields about the singer titled, Flip-Side: Real and Imaginary Conversations With Lana Del Rey, to be released in March 2016 via Penguin Random House.

The "Young and Beautiful" singer, however, has downplayed talks of the book being published. She explained that she's surprised that there will even be a book because she's yet to see it. She further detailed her admiration for the actor/artist/writer, explaining how they recently became friends and that although she rarely looks up to someone artistically, she looks up to him.

Honeymoon will be released on Sept. 18.
