Daytime TV viewers are ready for the new season of the NBC's popular Steve Harvey Show and Steve Harvey is ready to bring more comedy, more excitement and more relationship advice for men and women with the return of Season 4. He's already hit the ground running giving advice on love and dating during a recent interview with Nancy Redd, where he discussed the upcoming season, having success in daytime TV and whether or not men and women should have friends of the opposite sex.

Redd; host of Huff Post Live, sat down with the King of Comedy to ask how he managed to become so successful in daytime television - an area where most people fail. According to Harvey the secret is to simply to "be liked" by people. He says daytime TV and daytime TV talk shows is a very diverse market and it can be difficult to succeed over multiple seasons with a successful show if you're not liked by a diverse group of people. Luckily for Harvey, who has managed to host a popular radio syndicated morning show (The Steve Harvey Morning Show), host a highly rated game show (Family Feud), write and sell popular books (Act Like A Lady Think Like A Man), and still find time to have his own talk show; he has definitely reached the diverse masses.

Season 4 of the Steve Harvey Show is going to be "huge" and was described by Harvey as "the season of surprises" with guest appearances by Martha Stewart, actress Sanaa Lathan, vacation and car giveaways and even a marriage proposal and wedding that take place live on the show. After all, he has become quite the relationship expert so a wedding on the show is appropriately fitting.

As the relationship advice go to guy, Harvey has some pointers for couples, especially those who have friends of the opposite sex. After a question posed by a viewer asking if a woman and a man can be just friends without having a sexual relationship, Harvey gave a disappointing yet honest response -- it's very very difficult. He explains that women and men can be friends but when there's a level of physical attraction, that friendship is one that needs to end and quickly.

As Steve Harvey's Twitter reminds us, the countdown is on and you can catch more of Harvey's advice and all the excitement of season 4 when the show returns on Tuesday Sept. 8
