It seems as though everyone wants to be a member of Taylor Swift's friend #squad. This week, the "Wildest Dreams" singer has surpassed Kim Kardashian West as the most-followed person on Instagram.
As Complex reports, Swift now has 45.5 million followers, narrowly edging out Kardashian's numbers. Swift's Instagram supremacy should come as no real surprise to fans of social media or the 25-year-old pop megastar. Throughout her 1989 World Tour, she has been posting about her big celebrity guests on Instagram, which have included everyone from Nick Jonas to Lorde to Justin Timberlake and Selena Gomez.

The most-followed Instagram celebrity marker is just the latest success for Swift, whose latest album 1989 has been the best-selling LP of the year.
