The Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco is just as down-to-earth on screen as she is off. With her love for pizza and tell it like it is personality, who wouldn't want her by their side? Like most females today, the journey to loving and accepting every inch of your body can be a long one, but ultimately worth the time and patience. In a recent interview with Shape, the young actress revealed how she changed her eating habits to get fit in her own way and details her tough decision to banish her beloved bedroom snack drawer.

Wearing your man's clothes is no problem, but trying to adopt his crazy eating habits could lead to possible health problems. Despite the fun she was having doing so, Cuoco had to retire that habit. When the current highest paid actress first got married to professional tennis player Ryan Sweeting, they kept a drawer full of candy in their bedroom for the random moments they craved a late night snack. Cuoco soon realized this ritual was doing nothing but adding excess and unwanted calories to her body. She decided to cut the drawer out of her life and rethink her entire views on proper food intake.

"Eventually, I realized it was mindless eating," said Cuoco to Shape. I was just doing it because he was doing it, and it was adding hundreds of calories I didn't even think about. Our refrigerator and pantry have completely changed, because we don't eat crap anymore. No more soda, chips, cereal; we had boxes of stuff that only a 4-year-old would eat. My favorite meal to make these days is gluten-free pasta with vegan butter and veggies. I'm not vegan, nor do I have a gluten allergy, but it just feels better in my stomach."

Maintaining her eating habits was only a partial step towards the success of Cuoco's enviable toned body. The 29-year-old The Wedding Ringer actress cites yoga as her go-to method of fitness. Cuoco learned early in her journey that different fitness practices work for different people. What works for your friends, might not necessarily be the best fit for you. After finding a personal connection and balance with yoga, Cuoco began exercising five times a week.

"I love being toned and having muscle; it's so sexy and beautiful. And I owe it 100 percent to yoga. I go to a place called CorePower Yoga. One morning I'll take the Hot Power Fusion class, which is an amazing calorie burner. Or I'll take a Yoga Sculpt class, where we wear three-pound weights during yoga moves. The sculpt classes include 20 seconds of mountain climbing or jumping jacks between the poses, so I get cardio, too."

Cuoco has definitely noticed the results from her hard training and so has her husband. She reportedly lost six pounds in the last three months. Not only did she gain a new appreciation for her physical appearance, but her new healthy lifestyle also positively transformed her on the inside as well.
