Travi$ Scott has been making quite a name for himself in the hip-hop world and apparently, in other genres as well. During an interview with Billboard, Scott detailed working with Justin Bieber on "Maria I'm Drunk" from the Houston rapper's recently released Rodeo album.

While Scott acknowledged that the two may seem like an unlikely musical pair, he revealed that it was Bieber who reached out to him to collaborate. It just so happened to be Bieber's luck that Scott already had a song in mind -- the previously leaked, Young Thug-assisted "Maria I'm Drunk." Scott says he felt adding Bieber to the track and re-releasing it on Rodeo would give the song the refresh it needed.

"As soon as I got to the studio he played it for me," Scott recalled his first time hearing Bieber's version. "He already had [his rap verse on it] done. That sh*t was f*cking crazy. I went back in and produced over it. That sh*t's so pure!"

Elsewhere during the interview, Scott also revealed that he's been a fan of the "What Do You Mean?" singer for awhile now. In fact, the Bieb even performed at the Rodeo album release party in New York City last week.

Earlier this month, the "Antidote" rapper kicked off a mini tour on the same day his Rodeo album dropped, Sept. 4. He rocked the stage in New York for two nights as well as the Mad Decent Block Party in Berkeley on Friday (Sept. 11). Scott's pop-up tour will wrap in Los Angeles on Sept. 15. Aside from his own gig, Scott will also join The Weeknd on “The Madness” tour, starting Nov. 3 in Toronto. The two also collaborated on a song titled "Pray 4 Love" on Rodeo.
