Fellow Canadian artists Justin Bieber and Ryan Adams flew out to Berlin to perform a surprise acoustic duet of Bieber's original hit maker "Baby" at a Universal Music event. Bieber also debuted short bleach blonde hair stuffed under a black baseball cap and hoodie as he bounced around the stage to Adam's acoustic guitar strums in a rather off-the-cuff performance. Bieber handled both the vocal arrangement and Ludacris's rap verse with that famous line, "She woke me up daily / Don't need no Starbucks."

The charms of "Baby" have always proved irresistible to tween fans and Ludacris was able to aptly bring an urban twist to the track that may have helped it sit well with the boys as well as the girls. The rapper was also featured in the official music video, which remains the second most viewed video on Youtube. This acoustic duet brings a new angle to a classic Bieber song, which was featured on his debut album My World 2.0.

Entertainment Weekly recently reported that Bieber's most recent hit "What Do You Mean?" debuted at the very top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, which reinvented him as the only 21-year old male artist who had ever accomplished this, over fellow boy heartthrobs One Direction. "What Do You Mean?" also set a Spotify record the first week that it debuted. It's not the first time that Bieber has set a Hot 100 record - he also hit number 2 with "Boyfriend" in 2012.

The event was organized by Universal Music and included a question and answer session between the world famous artist and Frank Breigmann, the group's International president of Central Europe. Billboard reported that Justin Bieber's new album will be released shortly before Thanksgiving (Nov. 13) and Ryan's Get Up is slated for early next month (Oct. 16).
