Grace Jones has a big problem with Kanye West and she isn't afraid to talk about it. The singer even called him out for copying her video concept in a recent interview with the New York Times while she dissed other current superstars. Before her upcoming memoir, Never Write My Memoirs, is released later this month (Sept. 29) Jones was very vocal about the rapper, presidential hopeful and fashion designer's theft of her ideas, saying "When I see him, honestly, I'm going to get in his face."

She also had a lot to say in her memoir about starlets who like to "play the pioneer without taking the risk." Jones wrote, "I have been so copied by those people who have made fortunes that people assume I am that rich. But I did things for the excitement, the dare, the fact that it was new, not for the money. And too many times I was the first, not the beneficiary."

Grace Jones also called out several starlets, writing, "There's a lot of that around at the moment. Be like Sasha Fierce. Be like Miley Cyrus. Be like Rihanna. Be like Lady Gaga. Be like Rita Ora and Sia. Be like Madonna. I cannot be like them, except to the extent that they were already being like me."

She does seem to think that other young pop stars are "obsessed" with her and also asserts in the memoir that collaborations with them would be of more benefit to their image than hers. But the former 70's star hasn't been particularly quick to release new material on her own.

It isn't altogether surprising that West has been accused of stealing someone's moment, as he was recently called out during New York Fashion Week for scheduling a surprise fashion show at the same time as his fellow street wear designer, Anne Bowen, overshadowing a presentation that she'd put considerable effort into. He also infamously stole Taylor Swift's moment during her acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV VMAs.
