Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood
The Sooner State is losing another power country couple. Earlier this month, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert announced that they had bought a house in Nashville (see article) and now, Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood are looking to do the same thing.

Yearwood told CMT that now that Brooks' youngest daughter is getting ready to head to college, it's time to start on their next chapter in life ... which, in this case, means a move. "I have loved living in Oklahoma," Trisha told CMT. "It's been a great place to raise our girls, and the thing I'll miss the most is that I've made some of the best friends I'll ever have. But we'll always be best friends."

The move will make working in the country music industry easier for both of them, especially with Garth working towards a come-back. "There's an energy about Nashville that I love and I miss. And it's so awesome right now. It has a new energy that's so cool," Yearwood said. "And it makes sense because it's been a bit of a challenge to not live there and to have to fly in and out for work."

Unlike Blake and Miranda, there was no mention of keeping a home in Oklahoma and making Nashville a "home away from home."
