Creed frontman Scott Stapp seems to be on an upswing after the infamous video that he posted to Facebook, where he claimed to be completely broke, homeless and under attack from seemingly unknown assailants. It was later revealed that Stapp had suffered a breakdown due to Bipolar Disorder and worsened by substance abuse. Currently, he is hopeful that his top-charting band is set to reunite, but guitarist Mark Tremonti is not ready, at least in the short term.

Stapp's out of control behavior eventually led to a Creed break-up 10 years after the band released Human Clay, which sold a record 11.7 million copies with its blend of post-grunge musical aesthetics and Christian beliefs.

Scott Stapp recently said to Billboard when asked about a possible Creed reunion, "Definitely. I ran into Mark Tremonti at the Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando a couple months back, and we spent hours hanging by the pool, talking. We are all busy working on our other passions, but there's definitely going to be some Creed in the future, starting with this retrospective. So when the time's right in the next year and a half, I'm expecting some new Creed music."

However, the band's guitarist, Mark Tremonti, seems to think that is a bit premature and said to Billboard when asked for commentary, "I don't want to confuse anybody. I just know I'm so busy right now with so much stuff coming out, the next year, year and a half would be very difficult for me. Not that I don't want to do anything; it would just have to be the right time."

According to Loudwire, Stapp is collaborating with former drummer Scott Philips to assemble a Creed retrospective album that is scheduled to be released on Wind-Up in November. Tremonti further said, "This world doesn't need any more music out of this camp for the next few years after this year. So another Creed album would just be overkill," and suggested that a 2017 release would be better as it marks the 20th anniversary of their six-times platinum album My Own Prison.

The Inquisitor also reported that Stapp and signed himself and his wife Jaclyn up for the next season for VH1 show Couples Therapy to further repair their marriage.
