Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez are actually cool now. Earlier this week, Complex published a lengthy interview with the "Confident" singer, wherein she bluntly said she and her former Disney co-star no longer speak. But, Lovato wants to let you know that in the last few months, things have changed.
The spark that ignited the Lovato/Gomez friendship rumors this time is when Complex asked the 23-year-old pop star whether or not she and Gomez still speak, to which she bluntly said "no." However, Lovato also clarified that their drifting apart had nothing to do with Gomez's on-again, off-again relationship with Bieber. Instead, she emphasized that they simply grew apart.
"But, you know, when you're young and you get older, you change and people change. You have things in common, and then all of a sudden, you don't. It's just a part of life," she said.
However, since the interview was given, Lovato seems to indicate that things have changed and she fired off about it on Twitter.

This comes off the heels of what seemed like a happy reunion of sorts between Lovato and Gomez. Last month, upon the release of Gomez's latest Revival single "Same Old Love," Lovato supported her old friend with a friendly Instagram post.
