Although many believe that Cathriona White committed suicide, her devastating death is still a mystery to the police. Law enforcement discovered three different pill bottles next to her bed after finding her body. The drugs were prescribed to a fictitious name, which is believed to be an alias for her actor ex-boyfriend, Jim Carrey. Police are currently looking to investigate Carrey in connection with White's alleged suicide.

Prescriptions for Ambien (a sleep aid), Percocet (a painkiller), and Propranolol (a beta blocker used to manage blood pressure/heart) were found next to her bed, TMZ reported on Saturday (Oct. 3). Each pill bottle was prescribed by the same doctor. Police believe 28-year-old White died of an overdose.

Law enforcement has also confirmed that the alias name found on the bottles is, in fact, used by the Dumb and Dumber to actor. A source from the media website says a witness suspects White stole the bottles from Carrey's house.

White, who worked as a professional makeup artist and stylist, was found dead in her Sherman Oaks, California home on Monday (Sept. 28). Along with with cryptic tweets left on her personal Twitter accounts days before her death, she also wrote an alleged suicide note addressed to Carrey. The note discussed their Sept. 24 breakup.

"I am shocked and deeply saddened by the passing of my sweet Cathriona," Carrey told Us Weekly in his statement. "She was a truly kind and delicate Irish flower, too sensitive for this soil, to whom loving and being loved was all that sparkled. My heart goes out to her family and friends and to everyone who loved and cared about her. We have all been hit with a lightning bolt."

The Los Angeles Police Department is still waiting for the complete results of her toxicology report to determine her official cause of death. Although they believe a drug overdose to be the reason, they have not determined which drug actually killed her.
