Things are heating up in the world of sports between ESPN broadcaster, Stephen A. Smith, and NBA player, Kevin Durant, after reports surfaced of the Oklahoma City Thunder player referring to Smith as a liar for his comments about his move to the Los Angeles Lakers. Smith is firing back on video asking Durant does he really want to start something with him.

EUR reported that the feud began when Smith alleged that Durant was considering a move to a different team, the LA Lakers, "in lieu of signing a contract extension with the Thunder." The site reported that from this point, the back and forth began with Durant via an interview with Thunder beat writer, Anthony Slater on Twitter.

In the interview Durant names the sports analyst a liar for his comments prompting Smith to respond with this.

Smith furthered his tweets by stating he would address the NBA star during his broadcast, and as promised, he delivered. Yahoo Sports reported that Smith reopened the issue during his Monday episode of "First Take" where he gave "an 11-minute monologue on his journalistic integrity and the 'sensitivity' of today's players regarding media reports..."

Smith explains in the video that Durant is making "unnecessary enemies" and that he should not want to make an enemy out of him.

"I'm looking right into the camera, and I'm going to say it again," Smith said. "You do not want to make an enemy out of me. I'm not having it. I've done nothing wrong and I'm not going to tolerate it."
