It's been a year of collaborations for Chance the Rapper who has recently worked with a number of artists including his roommate James Blake, Pia Mia, Justin Bieber, Skrillex and Childish Gambino, among others. Now we get to hear some solo material from the Chicago rapper.

Chance took to Twitter to unveil the new track entitled "Home Studio (Back Up in This B*tch)," which is produced by his live band Social Experiment in his home studio (hence the title).

Over a raw, funky bass and blaring horns, Chance raps a bit unpredictably with "no vocal mix no structure" as he spits upbeat lines like "Young black boy / how he got the labels scared / A&Rs like, Chano / you ain't playing fair."

More music from the Social Experiment is forthcoming. Check out "Home Studio" here, and let us know what you think in the comments section below!
