Kendrick Lamar has announced the venues for his upcoming 8-date Kunta's Groove Session tour. The tour was announced earlier this week by Kendrick on his Instagram without many details, just saying that he would hit eight different cities for eight intimate shows. Now the venues for each concert have been revealed and it will be interesting to see how he and his team pull off an "intimate" vibe in these arenas and concert halls.

The tour kicks off with Lamar's special performance in Washington, DC with the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center, which will be the first time he has ever performed with an orchestra.

The tour continues at the Barclays Center for the Power 105.1 Powerhouse concert in Brooklyn, then heads to Columbus, Ohio, followed by Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, Washington DC again, Los Angeles and finishes at the Fox Theater in Oakland.

He will be supported by fellow Top Dawg Entertainment rapper Jay Rock and his backing band, the Wesley Theory, for the majority of the tour, starting in Atlanta. It will kick off in on Oct. 20 in Washington, DC and finish on Nov. 10 in Oakland. With these larger venues it will be interesting to see how K.Dot is able to keep these shows more intimate.
