It's been 17 years since Christine McVie went on tour with Fleetwood Mac, but this year, the keyboardist/singer will be hitting the road with her bandmates. Today (March 27), Fleetwood Mac announced a 33-city North American tour including McVie on the keys.
According to USA Today, McVie has officially rejoined the band after first leaving in 1988, thus recreating the most well known lineup of Fleetwood Mac. To celebrate the reunion, the band will be hitting the road this fall, beginning with a show in Minneapolis on Sept. 30 and running through the end of December.
Best known for writing songs such as "Don't Stop," "Say You Love Me" and "You Make Loving Fun," McVie has also returned to the studio with Fleetwood Mac, writing songs with Lindsey Buckingham for a new album.
The North American tour is reportedly just the first set of dates in a planned worldwide tour.
