A hiccup in the health of Swedish DJ Avicii may have thrown Miami-bound EDM fans for a loop Thursday night, but it seems to be a minor incident. The producer was forced to cancel his show at SLS South Beach due to a sudden hospitalization, but reports indicate that the performer has already been released from care.

Avicii is/was scheduled to play five nights at the SLS, but his second night was wiped from the schedule at the last moment. Opening act Cazzette told the crowd near the end of his own set that the headliner wouldn't be performing, an indication of how suddenly the problem developed. No word has been given from Avicii's representatives to indicate what was wrong, but no word was given suggesting that he would miss any other performances either, so we can only assume that the hospitalization was no big deal.

The incident is more relevant because Avicii is due to headline the Ultra Music Festival in Miami Saturday night. Again, no one has indicated that Avicii would be unable to perform the slot. Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond and Alesso will be performing before Avicii on the main stage.

The performer's Twitter account has been quiet since the reported incident, and that doesn't do anything to comfort Ultra-goers' nerves. Avicii's Facebook did get a new post Friday morning, but it was an advertisement for a new release from Le7els featuring three remixes of Syn Cole's "Miami 82." That post could have just as easily been posted by someone aside from the performer, so no good news to take from it.

All you can hope at this point is that the lack of news is good news.
